Hunting in Idle

Hi all,
I've got Mercedes Benz C class 220 Deisel M Reg 1994 and I have problem with it.its some time Hunting in IDLE and RPM just jumping between 1000 and 1500 RPM and when accelerating in this time is not responed and stoped.Hope you can help me please as I spend £1400 on the Diesel fuel injection and fixed but still have the problem, please help and many thanks.
