Hybrid Battery Life

I'm curious to know or test how long we can expect the batteries in our 2016 C350e hybrid to last? Can the performance of the batteries be tested or will there be a warning when they start to fail?

My neighbour had a C350 hybrid estate, he could reverse off his drive on battery then the engine would start... it was great for his BIK tax but that was it unfortunately - rest of the time he was lugging around an electric motor and batteries that were of no use at all.

Do you mean I have been misreading all these hybrid mileage claims it's not miles it's centimeters?

MB Xentry tester can show you how much battery capacity is left. My 2016 C350e with 90.000 miles on the tacho has 80% capacity left. I bought it used, two years ago with 65.000 miles on the tacho. The Xentry tester also showed 80% battery capacity at that time.
