hybrid system and E-mode doesn't work

have issue with Hybrid/E-mode, car wont switch to E-mode and when is in hybrid mode engine never switch off to electric mode (for example when car stopped) petrol engine always keeps running. anyone can help where could be an issue? many thanks

Usually an issue with the hybrid battery (looking at forum posts) with a ££££ bill attached

Hybrid battery works well it will fully charge not problem it just wont switch for pure electric mode

How is the Hybrid battery working if it’s not running in electric mode?
