I'm running a 1986 560 SEL and recently the warning light for the
hydro-pneumatic suspension has been coming on,albeit intermitantly,
this was normally cured by jiggling the 3 position switch about in the dashboard. The system does have a small leak, but the system has been regularly topped up.I got some new tyres fitted and as the car was jacked up i'm assuming that the oil went to the resevoir spheres. The warning light is now on all the time,is there a low level sensor in the system that may be stuck so that it's indicating empty when the system is full,or does the system need bled.
Question 1:- if a sensor is fitted in the system where is it ?
Question 2:- how do i bleed the system to get any air out of it ?
