I cannot lock/start/do anything with my E320.

Help.
We have an E320 Sportline Estate. My wife tries to lock the car using the remote c/l to no avail. The car will not turn over although all lights show up. The rear boot mech is silent. The electric aerial is half way down and will not budge, To make matters worse I cannot manually lock the drivers door thus rendering the car open to all and sundry.
Any thoughts...

It may be the batterys in remote.
Or it will be a faulty interior mirror
Disconect battery then reconect this sometimes clears fault.
Does mirror have two lights on it ?????????
If so is green flashing more than twice when you press remote.

Thanks...Off to do as you say...Little confused what you mean about the faulty "interior mirror.."
Our E320 does not have the gree/red Mercedes locks... it is a W124 on a "K"....

SORRY mate just ignore all that i had no idea what year it was .That year did not have the lights at mirror.
