My outside temperature gauge is reading -38 ( minus 38 )
i have a 1998 E 240 .. any ideas ??

The sensor that is just behind the bumper has failed John, or come unplugged.

can any one help me on how i remove the outside temp sensor ??

I have sent you the paper on the bumper, its on the near side near the number plate you can get to it from under the wheel arch liner or just under the car
