I NEED HELP!

Hi guys. I do not own a Mercedes but I am hoping you enthusiast can help me with something...

I was in europe about 6 years ago and while I was in london I bought a peice of artwork for my father. It is a picture of a mercedes. It is probably from around around the 40's or 50's and may even be a concept car. It is a roadster and it is a one seater. It is just a painting of the car, nothing else in the picture and it is very classicly done.

It is a great picture and was done by an artist named M.A. Lacey. I absolutley love this picture and I know that he has done others in this series, however I can not find it anywhere on the net. Any info that you guys could provide on this at all would be greatly appreciated.

That last picture on your post is the right car but the pictures I am looking for will not be racing shots, but paintings of the car. I will take a picture of it tommorow maybe that will help. Thanks for the help so far guys.
