can anyone help me out? i am after a heater blower motor for my 1996 C230 kompressor, but i cant find one anywhere for a reasonable price... mine stopped working and to get it to go i have to bang under the glovebox a few times to get it to start but it blows really weak... i dont want to spend between £100 - £250 just for a motor.... does any one know where there is a resonable merc breakers?

how about just changing the brushes? Chances are that's all the problem is. OK it's a bit of work but parts wise you'll be looking at pennies.
Breaker wise - Mercman or Dronsfields (google them).

As Jberks, it must be brushes if it works when you tap it, as it runs, there cant be anything else wrong with it

many thanks guyz for your replys... you are all a great bunch... so where do i get the brushes from? also if the brushes were gone would this make it spin slower?
