Im going to play this one, any suggestions on how to stitch him up would be a help, I think I will try to get him to transfer some money to my account so I can test the money movement process.

Hello,Giles
Thanks for your swift response toward the inquiry. About the present condition of the {CAR} as stated by you, I am really pleased with it, but i belived you are telling me the real fact, because i cannot come over to your location now due to the nature of my work.I have about five of my clients who are interested making immediate payments. Two of them had responded very positively and i have given them my own price for selling to them. I have added my own Commission and Shipping charges to your own asking price and they are ready to send cheque for the payment immediately.WHAT IS YOUR BEST OFFER? Any amount that is above your asking price on the payment would be transfer to me via western union for the shipping charges and my commission. That is my condition of sales between you (SELLER) and my client (BUYER).I understand that the payment will clear first before arranging for the pick-up and shippment of the {CAR}. If you are ok with the arrangements, kindly provide me with the following details as below so that i will instruct my client to mailed the payment to you and i will also forward your address to the shipping firm, so as to contact you for the shippment as soon as the payment clears from your bank. PAYMENT INFORMATION PAYMENT INFORMATION:
(1) Full Name....?
(2). Full Address....?
(3). Mobile & Home Phone#.....?
As soon as i recieve this details, i will ensure that you recieve payment in 3-4 working days. I will also contact the shipping company and their charges would be paid to them as soon as both of us agreed on terms. Please, I want you to understand that any profit i make from this transaction is how i use to earn a living. I am in the United Kingdom. Hope to hear from you asap.
Regards.

Careful with these scams, they send payment by cheque. You pay cheque into account and it shows up straight away in your account, but it is not CLEARED funds.
Fraudster then rings says you have payment and you part with goods - before funds cleared. Cheque then bounces or is cancelled.

But in answer to your post don't know how to play him, but good luck leading him up the garden path.........

As long as money or cheques come to you and nothing leaves you, you could have some fun, these western union cheque clear your account, but are returned uncleared after 3 weeks so spin him out over the three weeks then he will start to panic

I no from experience what the proceedure is, I think Ricco has first hand experience !!!!! I heard it can take upto 14 weeks for the cheque to bounce,

Im thinking what if the cheque shows are cleared funds, I emtpy the account in cash, then wait, surely if the goods have been collected then isnt it on the bank to find the funds from the bank that the cheque came from.

don't release your address

get a po box and have him send it there, or care of your bank. If he has your address he may send his mates around to claim his "property"

Best case, you play for a bit then have to pay the bank charges for handling the bounced cheque.
Let him send you the cheque and then claim you haven't received it - see how many you can gather up - but don't pay them in.

This is crazy. You should report to the police. Stop it happening to others. Watch for Identity theft if you persist in playing dangerous games and giving him details.

A few weeks ago some guy in America posted his story on the same scam. Search google and you might find it, he strung the guy along for a few weeks and you could tell by his e-mails he was getting madder & madder. Replying to his e-mails as if it is an automated reply i.e I'm out of the office until next week etc, kept it going a lot longer. Loved to have seen the scammers face when he finally realised he was the one taken for a ride.
