Sounds like a lot of work, geabox probably wouldnt be compatible, really needs like to like like.

Hang on mate . Perhaps if you tell us exactly what you are trying to achieve you will get some worhwhile advice. First of all which model is your car. Are we talking about a Merc or a Renault? what is wrong with it? Come back with the information so that members can advise.

Dont talk nonsense. This is a bad time to be looking as most people are on a holiday of one sort or another . There was a wrecked 202 here but the wrecker is closed otherwise I would check for you myself. Suggest you go have a couple of warm ones, compose yourself and start ringing some wreckers. The right gearbox will turn up.There is the alternative of having the box rebuilt As per Dieselman post. I think this is the better option as you will end up with a brand new box.

Hello the autobx i was telling u about is for sale The guy wants £1000 GBP for it . It is from an 03 C220CDI, the car had less than 4k (four thousand) miles on the clock and was vandalised , roof and glass damage, the insurance company would not release the log book so the car could not be put back on the road.
I may be able to get it across to u in england. possibly around £50 for transport.
BTW Engine, doors,and all rear end stuff is still available
