thanks for your reply, roof wont budge so trying to start somewhere.I believe it can giv you values . Tho as often, I can be wrong, it was 6 Yr ago but sure my xentry will point out faulty roof components. But you would need to have schematic identifying all components related to roof as most will I believe be referred to by a letter and number you then xreference that on schematic to see referenced component location, likely someMicro switch misbehaving and or wire fault due to flexing? If no info seen ur at old school multimeter testing.
I believe in one of the modules it can , because my earlier MB2 could . I had a recent CLk roof problem . The fault code was showing a failed microswitch on the rear Bow deck . I don‘t know enough to understand everything I see with voltages and switches to dig any deeper. Can the Icarsoft MB V2.0 check anything (Micro switches) on the Vario Roof, or is there anything on the market that can?

There u go. Evidence of a solution with relatively cheap diagnostics. Op. Go for it. Frankly no point(unless ur loaded) in not having decent diagnostics with any modern benz, and prob most other makes.I believe in one of the modules it can , because my earlier MB2 could . In the end after replacing the faulty microswitch I did one last check of some wiring and found a broken wire (to that same microswitch)
