hi im desperately after an ignition control module for my W124 300E 24 valve i have been told by the garage i need this unti to start my car and to buy new is £800+ and second hand ones are rare, can anybody help me, does anybody have one, i have also been told it needs to be the same numbers as the one on mine and if not it wont work at all is this correct or can i put any one in its place the unit i currently have is
BOSCH NUMBER = 0227400738
MERCEDES NUMBER = 0125452032
is there any way round it so i dont need a new one, or does any1 have 1 or know where to get one can any one help
