Ignition Quirk?

I dunno if this is designed or a fault but if I turn the igniton key to the start position but dont actually start the engine immediatly when I do twist the key nothing happens. Indeed I have to go back to position 1 before it will on the next turn. Is this meant to be the case?

Hi Mike

Yes this is supposed to happen. Its a safety feature. Stopping you engaging the starter motor when the engine is already running. It works well. Just have to get used to it.

Cheers for that, I was wondering if the solenoid/starter might be getting cranky...
