I own mercedes s class 320 cdi year 2000
All lights have gone out on dash and cannot turn key in ignition also cannot lock car using remote any ideas ?

Is your battery (in the car) ok?

Yes its only 2 weeks old

No , but would battery fail after only 2 weeks ?

It's unlikely but still possible. Check battery voltage, alternator etc

I had driven the car today with no problem
Then later tonight I sat in car everything was normal then all dash lights went off and I couldn't turn key in ignition and had to use key ( metal one ) to manually lock doors

As it's recently been disturbed, perhaps a loose battery lead?

I put a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box earlier is all but will check leads tomorrow
