Well, I'm back as a Merc' owner.
Had the Merc' C22CDI estate after years of avoiding the marque, thought it was great. Got rid of that to go back to company car.
Then bought a CLK320 cabrio' following seperation just to p*ss the ex-off. Loved that but sold that and proved you can have depreciation proof motoring (buy cabrio in winter, still use it if not raining, sell in summer just as heatwave starts and lose no money - brilliant!!!)
Am now doing the reverse on company car; taking the enhanced package to 'run ya own'. £10k a year extra is a decent wedge in anybodies book.
Today just got me a beautiful 54 plate, 27k miles, E320 CDI in the best colour scheme to me of silver and black leather in Avantgarde trim (so no nasty mahogony wood) loaded with goodies and fitted with the fantastic panoramic roof. Only downside is its fitted with 16" alloys - don't look too bad on this but definately need upgrading if anybody has some spare 17" or 18" rims going  Absolute bargain and I love it already. Private plate will be on next week and it's ageless even with the new one just launched.
Glad to be back. Will be sharing my opinions on all things on here I am sure
