immobiliser and rear view mirror repair R129 1995 320 sl

Hi Folks

Went out again to day and yep you guessed it its stopped working again and every time i try to resync the alarm the lights on the mirror just keep flashing every time i put the key in and turn it.

The central locking works on the key in the door only not via the IR on the mirror

The green light on the door doesn't illuminate. Both key fobs have new batteries

I assume the alarm / immobiliser simply cuts the supply to the fuel pump relay, if so where in the fuel pump relay located

I'm also looking for a wiring diagram but cant find any thing.

At present the car is stuck on my drive and blocking access to my other car

I had this on my 1996 w140 s320..I solved it by pulling fuse number 9 out in the boot,waited 1 minute and put fuse back in..it reset air pump and started straight away..hope this helps..red and green lights was flashing in interior mirror say that immobilizer was stuck on

One of the most useful things you can have for these cars is a blink code reader and breakout box.
Blink code reader you can build yourself:

Then using the attached you can read and reset codes.

Thanks guys, i've managed to by pass the Imobiliser this AM and i've got the car started so at least i can shift it off my drive and get it to the garage for an MOT and further investigation.

Judging by other posts on here i shouldn't be posting what i did to get the car started but if you think yellow/red black/purple then you might get a result
