Hi,
Have you got red & green L.E.D.'s in the rear view mirror?
Are these both working?
As one of these being blown can cause the symptons you are describing, though i have never heard of the car cutting out once the car has been started.
Have you replaced the fob batteries? even if the fob is still opening the car ok replace them with new.
Have you tried your spare key fob?

The immobilizer is a MB dealer fit, and you can remove it, a fiddly job as the wires that were cut to fit the thing have to be joined up again, they are all colour coded and a few have done this

Sorry there is not, there are also many different versions.

There are the CD's on Ebay but few can get them to work and they are not easy to use. these Disc do have the dealer retro fit for the alarms,, perhaps they could be used backwards,, no promises but this is the third time that someone has asked to remove their alarm. I cant look today as these things are time consuming but I will look up this to see if it is possible to give some info out
