immobiser - E280 TE

Hi, Can anyone help!
I have just brought a  L reg 1993 Mercedes E280 TE.
Can you tell me if they come with an immobiliser as standard as  I can not tell if there is one. If there is; How can I check that it works.??
(My insurance company need proof of this).

Hi George,

You vehicle didn't come with a immobilisor as standard. If in doubt fit new. That way there is never a problem.
