Recall of ?Kiddy TopSafe? Child Seats
Mercedes-Benz advises all customers that have purchased the ?Kiddy TopSafe? child seat between 1 January 2003 and 25 November 2004 to return the child seat to a Mercedes-Benz retailer immediately.
Through our continuous monitoring of product quality it has been identified that a production issue may exist with the ISOFIX anchoring on the seat. These do not comply with the security specifications and may in extreme cases open in the event of an accident. Therefore the child seat security cannot be guaranteed.
Please therefore contact your Mercedes-Benz retailer as soon as possible. You will, of course, be refunded the full purchase price and offered an alternative replacement seat free of charge.
