Camping gas/utensils, coffee/olive oil/dish soap, 6l water, pen knife, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, beach towel, beach blanket, suncream, walking boots...for if I'm in the countryside and want a coffee break/outdoors sleep/visit a secluded beach I spot...these things certainly happen a lot more often than breaking down so would rather keep these "spares" instead of the usual (limited to toolkit, WD40, oil and spare wheel)...

Oh yes forgot trolley jack. So much easier than using normal jacks
I assume that will be for parking in awkward gaps or opening up awkward gaps ;)

Double snickers bars, or triple as the size has been reduced these days, box loads :geek:

A full size spare wheel if I'm going out into the country (every couple of weeks), 2 or 3 small (1 litre) bottles of water, Sat Nav, and a country area map book. Around Melbourne, as little junk as possible and remember my phone. In summer, chocolate is banned - just so hard to clean out of the console after it's melted, which is nearly every day. A roll of paper towels and some glass cleaner is useful to de-bug the windscreen so you can see the kangaroos before you hit them.

Just one more thing nobody mentioned, apart from plastic zip ties, I do carry an old wire coat hanger, bent to length of toolbox in case of exhaust mounting snapping i had once in Holland.

That's what fence wire/welding wire is for.

I am surprised how many people mistrust their cars. All I carry is a bottle of water and some tissues in case of bird sh1t attack, oh, and some shopping bags apart, that is, from the standard tool kit :)
