R231 SL63AMG. Leaking rear ABC strut. This car came in for a service, geo and a couple of tyres. Once in the air I noticed some fluid from the offside rear corner. It’s under 13,000 miles from new, so slightly annoying! I hadn’t replaced a strut on a 231 before. Done a few of the old 230 though. They’ve changed a few things, but if anything was a slightly easier job. It seem the pipe had rubbed a hole in the protection gaiter. Probably let some grit in that messed it up. I checked the other three and they had no holes. Seems too much to be coincidence. 42D84896-3BD4-4400-B5D6-76BFA5ECE0AA.jpeg
