I've just upgraded my CD based COMAND with the 2007 / 2008 Teleatlas map for Great Britain, and at the same time re-entered / checked the calibration information.
When I'm just driving with the map on (no active navigation) I notice that the map lags behind my actual position by about 100 or so yards i.e. I am past roads that the map shows me just approaching.
However, when I do have a route programmed in, the voice commands are given at the correct time as expected, but the map is still lagging behind.
Doesn't strike me as normal this, as my Tom Tom for instance was spot on with position and that doesn't have the same level of positioning technology as COMAND does.
Is this perhaps a function of re-entering the calibration info? Will the system tune itself over time? In the calibration, I'm using the wheel size for the front wheels. Is that correct or doesn't it matter?
Thanks for any insight
Steve
