Independent Merc servicing

Hi

Please can anyone advise if there are independent Merc servicing garages in or around Swindon with a good reputation.
I have a 5 year old C180 which I love but just had a hefty bill for a routine service during which i was advised that the brake pads and discs needed changing.
I dont mind paying for good service but somehow i think someone at Merc is laughing alll the way to the bank.

Probably too far, but I work for Maylane Motors (http://www.maylane.net) in Dursley near Stroud.

Do a lot of Mercedes, W210 203 202 201(inc mine) R107 126 etc etc, along with much other german stuff and some of our less normal customers' more specialised vehicles (Morgan, Ferrari, Elise, Porsche etc).

Fully Bosch equipped with very latest computer diagnostics & information on DVD etc etc
