independent merc specialist Stockport/Manchester area

Looking for an independent Merc garage in the Stockport area

I have a few annoying problems with my W202 :-x

Greenvale in Whitefield are a good garage. I've had no issues with them, IIRC their labour is about £45 an hour. I've had my car in there a couple of times to do ball joints and other stuff thats too difficult for me to do myself. They once dipped my gearbox and checked the codes on mine, and didn't charge me anything for the privilege (I gave the computer man a tenner though).

There are no glass walls or coffee machines, and you won't be sitting on a leather sofa either You also get to look at lots of classic Mercs, they usually have a few in.

They're just 2 minutes walk from Whitefield Metrolink station, which is handy if the repairs take all day.

May be a bit far but I've been very impressed with "Merc specialist" at Skipton Tel. no 01756700603.I've had a service inc. gearbox oil change and a rear spring replaced all at a reasonable price and on time. They will also lend you a certesey? car if you need one.
