well,
I got a flustered phone call from my wife today as she had been pointed out that her nearside indicator was missing !! she thought that it had been stolen.
When she got home I had a look and all that was left was the cable with the connector. I had a look at the other side and was surprised just how easily it came out, just a little prise with my finger between the headlamp and the indicator was enough to have it ease out to be suspended on its wire. I guess that it more than likely just fell out.
How much are these things to replace from (I guess) the dealer?
The more I find around this car, the less I'm impressed with the build quality, it really is less than satisfactory:sad: .

Your Mercedes
2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
You do not say what car it is, please let us know. Most cars that I know use the same method of fixing, Maybe yours were not pushed in far enough to engage the catch.

sorry about the double post, my connection froze when I posted this one and didn't show up on the forum so I posted again
yes, it is a 1999 c200.
I ended up buying a new one from Mercedes, £37 inc VAT
Definitley heard the "click" as I pushed this one in so fingers crossed that it is safe and secure.
thanks
