Indicators come on when car off

Hi

C class cdi220 coupe, the indicators come on with the car being off!
Any idea what’s causing that?
I’m baffled!
I’d appreciate any help.

Do you mean they start flashing when the car is locked? If so then it’s likely your alarm siren has failed and it’s creating a short circuit, replace the siren and that should solve it.
If it’s going to take a while before you can replace then you can just unplug for the time being which will stop the flashing

it will be the siren which is also the control module. usually under a wheel arch. the circuit breaks down and or the battery dies within. getting to it is the hardest part. Replacement is a plug and a screw.
