Called in there a while back. Wasn't interested in taking any work on. Felt I was intruding on his day!
Right, ok, trouble with Ste, he's a one man band, and therefore very busy. Shame because he's very good.

Sounds like he is missing an opportunity to expand there unless of course he likes to work on his own :)

I'm often around there. Must take him half a day to move all the cars in and out!
Garage I've used for a while has done a couple of bits lately which I'm not happy with so want someone I can trust.

Better staying small, busy and enjoying what you do, than expanding, then spending all your time dealing with staff and customers…:(

That's exactly his way of thinking, Russ. :)

Possibly. Have you checked, tested the battery ?.
These cars are very heavy users of electricity, and it has been cold.

Garage sid and it said replace. Conflicting information as to whether the battery would cause an overnight drop.

A bad battery won't cause an overnight drop of suspension.
The only way the suspension can drop is if it's told to (by the electronics) or if it has a leak.
At rest the system is a sealed system. All valves are closed and electronics shut down.
A bad battery may stop it raising quickly but won't cause it to drop.

To check condition of your battery measure the voltage before first start in the morning, everything switched off. Anything less than 12.4v and the battery needs replacing.

It is normal for the system to require itself to re-level when you get in (weight removed when you got out and added when you get back in) but this should be over and done with in a few seconds with no warnings.

Thank you
It's dropping some nights and not others. Driving me mad!
Can't get in to recommended indies until March.
Pumps up fine in the right timescales.
Think I'll get rid. Had a decent offer from WBAC so maybe time to say goodbye.
My luck means if I get rid it'll be a loose pipe. If I keep it'll need 2 air springs and a compressor!

Before getting rid think about cost to replace. It's not just about the selling price.

Yeah I know. Cars are way higher than "normal" but if I can't get it looked at I'm running a gamble.
I'm about £1,000 below private money I'd say on what a trader has offered. No way would I sell it private with an issue
