Hi - I have recently moved north. My 51plate E320CDI is due a service soon. Am going to sell it soon but still want to get a decent service done. Anyone know any good merc indies in Chesterfield or possibly Sheffield (or even York as I work there).

If you are going to sell it soon, is it worth servicing it? Generally, if it is OK and if you are thinking of a trade in at a dealer, do it now, before it needs a service. You will never get your service money back.

Or, service it thoroughly and sell it to me. Might be interested if you give me some more details...

Good point.
It is a 51 plate silver E320CDI Estate Elegance. I have owned it for 2 yrs or so, my dad bought it new (so I am 2nd owner). It has done 102 K. Grey leather, climate etc..... NOT seven seats. I guess I would want £6K for it but havent researched prices. I am in Derbyshire.

I usually drive from Sheffield to Ian Walker at 124 works over in kirkham.

I have found a few new ones to add to the list:-
1) Europa Prestige (by the station) - MB accept their stamps against warranties etc.....
2) PCM ( pete ) on Rydal Road S7 off Abbeydale Road

I have no experience of any of the above.

Had a look - seems a very generalist under the arches style place albeit specialising in all things german.
