Inexpensive repairs for 1970's Mercs in (central) London???

Hi

I am quite new to London and very new to this forum. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a repair shop for servicing my 1973 250 CE?
I am not really keen on paying official dealer prices, so perhaps someone knows an inexpensive repair shop?

i have two /8s - a 114 250 (2.8 sohc engine, to be used as a rally car) and a 280 CE - both 1972.

don't suppose you know of any electric rear window regulators for the coupe? and bumpers.

I just moved over from Germany - all I know is that the owners' associations there have annual trips over to California to pick up good spares. They certainly do front power windows, if you like I can check about back ones. Bumpers are certainly also available in Germany, though going over to pick them up may be too much hassle for you.

i am sure they do the electric rears - but its difficult to find them. I assume that you speak german then ? can you help a fellow 114 owner and find me a decent set of bumpers (double fronts, coupe rear) for sensible money in germany?

I have some spares if theres anything you need...
