i have recently purchased a very good example 1972 280 auto, and all its previous owners headaches! After completing 80% of the tasks i am now stuck. I knew that the blower on the heating system never worked but have since discovered that it is simply not plugged in to the blower itself,
After extensive searching behind the dash i am lost to know where it plugs in! I know that the plug is correct after deliberately fusing it and checked which fuse i blew.
i have a haynes manual with wiring diagram but am still mithed!
Can someone please point me in the right direction as it is getting considerably chilly in these cold winter months! thanks

Only going from memory but if you look under th bonnet on the fire wall there should be a group of resirtors in a perforated cage, these control the speed of the fan.(look like springs). Same happened to my one and turned out to be a siezed fan. One of the toughest jobs I had to do on the car was replacing this.
Good luck
