Hi All,
Just joined the site tonight and looks like lots of good info on here
I have a bolt question regarding the injector tie down bolts.
(I think a previous repair has been done and the insert that's been fitted has moved to the bottom of the hole-pic1)
Bolt hole on No 3 was stripped so I've drilled & tapped it & fitted a time-sert to the top of the hole. Pic-2
The standard stretch bolts have approx 20/25mm unthreaded at the top so I can't screw this back in as the unthreaded part will foul on the time-sert.
Do I just use a standard 6mm capscrew ? Stainless capscrew or a high tensile capscrew instead.
Thanks in advance
Graeme
