Injector Pump Gasket Replacement - A question

Hi All,

Most leaks on my W123 240 D seem to have been sorted, except for the remining one which is from the gasket between the block, and the injector pump.

OK, it's three bolts to remove it, but as the pump is driven from the engine I imagine there is some form of timing alignment takes place at this point.

Anyone able to shed any light, as to how to tackle this?
