Install Becker Map Pilot

Hello, I have recently bought a second hand Becker Map Pilot for a C180 Blue Efficiency 2013 coupe but all I can get on the screen is the manufacturer logo and on the dashboard screen it just keeps saying ‘ activating navigation’ and continues like this for about 20 mins after which time I lost patience! I have recently had an airbag and software update as part of a recall, might this have an effect? Thanks in advance.
