Not sure that I am - mine had cruise from factory, as it's an automatic (CVT).
I'm almost certain @Alfie retrofitted tempomat to his son's W169 (manual), and I know @area51 have done the same on his W168.

I did have some impure thoughts of retrofitting a linguatronic stalk, and assigning a completely different function to it, just so all possible levers are present on the steering wheel Haven't completely abandoned the idea ...

Thanks for the effort I think the w169 has factory support for cruise control just need to install a lever and encode the ecu, I wanted to contact someone who has already done so, greetings from Croatia

Well I've done it on a Smart and all it needed was a new stalk, some wiring and recoding the ECU. On the Smart it required a TAN code to activate it.
Not sure if the 169 needs a TAN code or not.
