Can anyone advise me on how to remove the radio and part of the centre console on a 2002 c180. I want to pick up a live a negative and also a ignition switch. I also want to connect the mute cable of the bluetooth to the radio. I want to do this has neatly as possible. I would perfer to know the correct way rather than damage my interior. The radio is a single cd player with no key slots for removal.

The slots for keys are often covered with plastic trim. Don't have access to a W203 (new C) today, but do you know who makes the head unit.

Why do you want to remove part of the centre console.

The radio is a standard merc single cd player. I asked at a dealer and they said that this unit does not have keys for removing. They said that you have to remove the gear lever cover, the storage unit under the radio and the vents above the radio. Then you well uncover some screws that hold in the radio. I just would like to find out the correct way of doing all of this without damaging any of the centre console.
