Instrument Lights

Hi
I removed the instrument panel and replaced the two bulbs.
Still no lights. :cry:
Checked and replaced fuses.
All the warning lights and indicator lights are working.
Any ideas?

mske sure the instrument panel has the brightness turned up (turn the clock adjuster clockwise to see) it's a rheostat

Tried that before I replaced the bulbs and first thing after replacing them.
The old bulbs checked out OK as well.

Its only a matter of working back from the instrument cluster to see where the 12v stops.

I think the dimmer is probably the cause of the problem.
I will drop the instrument panel again and let you know.

The wiper on the dimmer is a source of problems as it loses contact with the ressistor element.
