Hi all,
I m new to this forum and I need help. I have just bought a C180 'P' reg - 1998 model. The problem I have is that one of the instrumentation panel is not lighting up - the one where it shows the surrounding/outside temperature. I have checked the fuses front and back but everything seems to be ok. Any ideas? Thanks

How do I take the panel out? Is it something I can do myself or I have to go to the mechanic? Thanks

it might not have an OTG (out side temp guage). Shine a torch at the blank panel and see ifyou can see the digits, if none, it wasn't fitted to your car, if you can see them, pop the dash and replace bulb. Most c180's this was optoinal.

thanks for the reply. i ll have a look over the weekend. how do i 'pop' the dash? Is it something easy to do? Thanks

you can get keys from MB to pull it out, or else it can be pushed out from behind with a little effort. It's only held in with friction, there are no catches or screws.
But I agree with the above, a P reg C180 probably doesn't have an otg.
