Insurance Cover

I took out cover Mercedes benz through Norwich Union. Had my window smashed. This was repaired but they say they will not cover the radio facia which was stolen -the rest of he radio is still in situ.

Cost of cover was £525 full comp on a 1994 E320 with 120000.

1. Anyone got a cheaper deal. If so I'd appreciate the details.
2. What do you have do to have your radio covered?

Thanks
Paul

I was paying < £350 on a 2001 CLK320 with swiftcover.com

Fully comp + Class 1 business use (with maximum NCB)

Paying £649 now on 2003 E55 but swiftcover wouldn't quote on this one :(

Broker called A-Plan in Thatcham

Audio equipment automatically covered AFAICR

Esure turned out cheapest for me, will depend if you have any NCB left. Whats their rationale for refusing to replace the radio facia ?
And what does the policy actually say in this respect?

The main issue for me is an excess of £250 ona claim which makes it pointless. I think I'll check out some of your leads. Many thanks.
