Sounds very good to me but it depends on what sort of area you live in.

Sounds like a good quote. I used to be with MB ins for a few years and they were very competitive, but they changed broker and uped the price 25% so I left them about 4 yrs ago. Then went with Admiral who were the most competitive and certainly looked after me when my 300TE was reversed into. Provided an excellent loan vehicle while my 'no fault' repairs were carried out.

Changed the car to a X Plate E320CDi 14mths ago and they proved to be uncompetitive on that vehicle. M&S provided the best quote for FC guar'd inc full RAC breakdown cover £440, which mean't I could suspend my RAC cover and so the real cost worked out at about £350. I am 54 with a clean license living in Leicester area.

I think you are on a winner with the Admiral quote, just watch out for the helpline which they had moved overseas when I last dealt with them.

2005 C270CDi Avantgarde Estate. Bought 2005, sold 2022.
Liverpool Victoria (aka Frizzell) were cheapest for my C270. I also liked the fact that they don't care about points - you don't even have to tell them.
What Car use them (don't know if any cheaper than direct) and if you or spouse can join Civil Service Motoring Association (CSMA) they discount by (I think) 7.5%.
Be careful of the excess when getting quotes - different companies have different voluntary AND compulsory excesses, and equalising them can make a big difference to the quote.

I recently renewed. Frizzell who I have been with since I started running Mercs quoted me £715. In previous years I have checked round and found them the cheapest every time. I tried all the on line folk as usual, and the best I found was firstalternative at £650 but with a higher excess. Rang Frizzel, they matched the excess and charged me £611. The total excess is £300 but I figure with over £100 off the premium its worth it.

We paid £312 with Direct Line and I think we are probably in a fairly expensive Post Code area here. We also have our home insurance with them, so I think that makes it a bit cheaper. What we did find interesting was that if we had renewed with Direct Line through the post or over the phone it was a lot more expensive, which is very odd. What we do now is just let our Policies run out at the end of each year and just take out a new Policy online and it works out over £100 cheaper.

Try "confused.com" my sister just saved 200quid on a new BMW 3 series, 18kpounds, group 15. 557quid down to 359 quid!!

Searches dozens automatically. More Than were by far the cheapest. You may even find that your current insurer is on their, but cheaper if you take your policy on line. If so, cancel your current policy and re-book on line to save plenty of dosh at renewal.
