Which insurance company are you using ???

When you say a classic policy, are you getting an agreed value policy.

What is the miles allowed per year, and does the car have to be garaged ?

Is it your daily driver and do they know that, if it is ??

Thanks for feedback.

If the car is in good condition, it will probably not be depreciating, so why don't you get an agreed value put on the car upfront so that in the event of a total write-off, you will get decent money for it.

Otherwise they will give you as little as they can get away with and you will have to fight to prove it's value which is difficult to do when the car is a tangled heap.

Regards

Forget about which broker it's through/who's it underwritten by?
If it's a **oyds syndicate you MUST get an agreed valuation
otherwise come claim time I hope you're good at touching
your toes....

I did have to fill in a valuation form ,did'nt need a garage to do this they said because the value is below a certain amount[£2500] so i put £1200 thats what the car owes me so i'd be happy at that,[or if any body wants to buy it for that amount] :)
