Hi everyone,
not sure if I translated it correctly, but last time I visited MB service, the Star showed error of this sensor.
The original MB part numbers are:
A 004 153 32 28
A 005 153 50 28
A 006 153 13 28
A 006 153 97 28

I ordered the sensor elsewhere (for fraction of cost quoted in MB), can anyone help with it´s location?

I had a look over intake manifold and other areas, but I didn´t find it.

Thanks a lot

It’s known as a MAP sensor on a naturally aspirated engine. That might help with your search. It’s fitted to the front corner of the intake manifold, drivers side of the car (uk), passenger side for you

Great, thanks. I will google it and try to find it later today (there are a lot of sensors and pipes).

Do I have to visit MB to delete the error again? Or is this sensor just plug and play?

Thanks, with your picture it wasn´t tough job to find it. Need to source some proper tools and will do the job tomorrow, it looks like the EGR needs to be removed to change that sensor so maybe I´ll try to clean EGR too.

Will I need to visit MB service to recode it?

It should start and run correctly once the sensor is replaced. The historic fault code will only clear with a plug-in though.

Great news.

I will update tomorrow how it went. I don´t see any problems with the bad sensor, I just feel the idle is a little bit rough and unstable few seconds after start. I hope the new sensor and EGR cleaning will solve that.
