So my cls220cdi was serviced when I bought it in October on 26k miles... I was clocking up about 3000 miles a month till lockdown.. as that happened I had the 2000 mile till service notification. Since then of course I’ve been no where and it’s reverted to time (100 something days), and given that I’ve now been placed on garden leave :( my miles won’t increase significantly for some time and I need to think of the pennies.. with the oil having done 13k miles or so and the DPF I suspect dumping more soot into the oil, do I:

A) leave it till Oct as is (1500 miles ish)
B) do a quick vacuum removal and replace with mb oil...which will get dumped when it’s serviced?

Another 1500 miles on top of 13000 isn’t going to make any difference buddy . If you are bored during lockdown you could do a quick change , but even i who loves an oil change thinks it’s a shame to dump 1500 mile oil

As above leave it, short journeys are the worst which doesn’t sound like the case with your car use, full synth oil will do twice your 13k in motorway mileage

Cheers chaps I’ll leave it then, I’d normally change oil mid way through at 8k but life got in the way.
