interior color change...

hi guys,

i just bought a 1990 560sec.., and i do not really care for the intereior color of blue.
have any of you changed or had the interior color changed in your benz ?

i am wanting to change it to gray or the beige mercedes color..



any thoughts ?

I've done it on my W124.... you gotto be dedicated mate - not that hard really but changing the dash will put most off the idea.

i should have said, that i was planning on chaning the color by dying the leather, not replacing it..

Some parts will change with ease, others as already said ie dash, are a right.....well they are a lot more awkward.
Remember too that if things arnt put back just right, theres the tendancy to rattle.

Regarding recolouring the leather, never heard of that and would personaly take the chance as it may not colour evenly. Try looking for an interior trim for sale and then sell yours on after.

you will end up with a nice car destroyed,,the dash is not leather,or the plastic trim,,,,are you going to paint these?????????????????????
