interior cubby hole lid

Hi have just become a member and I have a type w210 e280 the problem I have is only minor but its realy niggling me. On the front of the dash there are push to open and push to close cubby hole lids two of them are stuck open and no matter how many times I keep pushing they wont close apart from taking the dash apart is there any simple way that they can be re-set
I have pushed and pulled screwdrivers in and out but to no avail
anyone have ideas

Not easy they are the flip flop catches, I will look to see
