Interior door pulls C220

Hi all, I bought a 2013 C220 executive se blue efficiency cdi 2143cc from my main dealer in November last year. I've been away quite a bit and consequently only done 1600 miles since purchase, the car has been left in my garage a lot. For the first time recently I had passengers in the rear, and when opening the doors from the inside both door pulls were sticky and the 'black' stuck to their hands. Has anyone else experienced this, [could it be a design fault?]Does anyone have any suggestions for a solution, (apart from buying new trims)or would it possibly be covered by the approved used warranty? Any reasonable suggestions would be most welcome. Many thanks.

Sounds very odd! I'd get it back to the dealer , as you say you will have the warranty cover so may as well use it

Many thanks John, you're quite right, that's the obvious first step, just wanted to know what I would be up against when going back to the dealer, [or if indeed it would be covered under their warranty] and if anyone had similar probs. Regards

No worries- I like stating the obvious ! I'm sure that sort of thing should be covered
