Interior Lamp delay circuit

Hi members .I have a 1994 W140 S320 . Interior lamp in the middle next to rear view mirror has a time delay circuit what makes the light turned off later after after closing the door. I was replacing the globes with LED's , one LED was shorted so that lamp stopped working with door - obviously the circuit is damaged .No faulty fuse checked them all . Interior light works fine once I use the switch on the lamp assembly itself .Any idea which module controls that light delay with door opening, where it is located and what is the part number ? Very annoyed ...Like to have it sorted . Kind regards

I do not have a S320.
How do you fancy prising the light unit off and putting up a picture of the reverse.
Looking at the front of the unit, which side Bulb shorted, r or left.
