Interior restoration

Hello again Benzo Buds! Not sure if this is the right place however I couldn’t find a designated interior thread. So if I’m the wrong place I do apologise.

So as like most to those who also have a Benz which is starting to show it age, I decided that I need to get the interior restored. To be honest it’s not even that bad especially being that it’s 17 years old.

However I am a little OCD and as time goes on these things are starting to really bug me! I did a little research and I’ve found a very highly recommended company that is local to me who can rectify and restore my interior back to its former glory!

I’ve got them booked to come out to me in 4 weeks time as that’s the earliest they can do and once it’s done I’ll let you all see how much better it will hopefully look. I’m very happy with the price they have given me to do it all and I’m sure you will all agree it’s definitely something worth doing.

Here’s the pics of the current state of my interior and will post up the after pics when completed.

After I retired I did a bit of consultancy for Allon White Sports Cars in Cranfield.
Their trimmers at the time were the best I've ever seen. Might be worth a chat as the results should be spectacular. Not cheap though!

Thanks mate, I’ll give them a call and see what they quote me. They’re a little bit of a distance from me but that said I’m not one to cut corners or cheap out lol. So if the work is done at a high standard then to me it’s worth the extra cost as well as making the trip cheers

For the steering wheel check out Royal Steering wheels (they may also be able to do the gearlever) https://royalsteeringwheels.com/
The nice thing is you can have the wheel rebuilt exactly to to your spec and improve on the CLS' rather thin and hard finish. They can do this by post and they made a superb job of mine, lots of forum members have used them.

I had mine done like this and it feels so much better than the original.
