Interior (seat) cleaning

I have light 'sand' coloured seats in my 124 that seem to stain far too easily- even a small water spill will cause a water mark stain- grrrr.

anyone know a good cleaner that'll have my seats looking good again?

I had a similar problem, and solved it using a VAX machine. These can be hired and are very effective, since the water carrying the dirt is sucked back out of the seat material rather than wetting it too much. I tried lost of other methods - from sponge washing, various cleaners, etc but the VAX machine was the only one that worked.

agreed - I have a hoover version of the vax - same basic idea, wet vac with a pump and spray attachment. Just done the back seat of the C that had been stained with a rather unleasant substance. Went over it 4-5 times - drown in detergent, rub well in then suction the water back out then repeat -24 hours to dry off - looks (and smells) good as new.
I bought it for my E as I have a light grey cloth interior and children and £50 a time at the valeters was getting expensive.

once you've got them clean try using Scotchguard on them, it will help them stay clean and resists future staining.
