Hi, I have a fabulous E300D but the blower has become intermittent and often will not work. I have been informed that it could be due to a blocked pollen filter ? Is this correct ? If so how do I go about replacing it.

All good advice accepted.

not all 124's have a pollen filter and they would not stop the fan from turning. has the car got mb a/c, if so its either the fuse board and a melted fuse or the motor itself (which is under the wiper mech). if its got after market a/c, the to change the blower motor you have to remove the dash :(

Normally if the fan's intermittent it's because the motor brushes have worn out. There are lots of threads on the two forums regarding this
