Driving back from Paignton yesterday I experienced a temporary electical fault.
The windscreen wiper was set to automatic and moved slightly then stopped, the air bag warning light illuminated and the indicators stopped working. I pulled off into the services and switched the ignition off and then back on again and everthing worked as it should (strangely when the indicactors were not working when I indicated right the left indiocator worked).
I went on my way and about 100 miles later on the SRS light came on dimly, the airbag led lit again and the indicators didnt' work however this time it cleared itself (I turned off the auto windscreen wiper switch on the stalk - althought his may just be a red herring) after a few seconds and there have been no problems since (and the auto windscreen switch was back on).
I wondered if this is a precursor to something on it's way out. I have been driving SL's for over 5 years and have never experienced this before any thoughts could the relay ( is it the OVP?) be responsible or just a glitch...
